THOMAS F GLENN
Thomas F Glenn, alumnus of the University of Alberta School of Law, was admitted to the bar in 1979. Tom obtained the practice of his mentor, formerly Steel & Associates, starting his own venture with S. Allan Low in 1980, and
joined by Joseph N. Card soon thereafter.
​
Tom is a well-known and highly respected Family lawyer.
He specializes in Matrimonial and Family Law including Common-Law, Cohabitation & Pre-Marriage Agreements, Divorce & Separation and disputes relating to children,
partner support, property & asset division.
​
Tom also has an extensive and busy practice in Wills, Estates (Administration & Litigation), Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Corporate Law, Business Law, and Real Estate including Conveyancing and Property Disputes.
​
Tom is comfortable in litigation but also appreciates the mediation/arbitration process, which lends itself to resolving conflict in a smooth and timely manner.

In Memoriam
With heavy hearts, we honour the memory of Joseph N. Card,
who passed away in May 2025. Joe was a respected leader, mentor, and friend. His dedication to the practice of law and to our clients created the foundation and culture of our firm. His contributions to the legal community, and the care he showed to those he worked with and represented, leave a lasting legacy.
Joe’s wisdom, integrity, and wit will be remembered fondly by colleagues, staff, and clients alike. He truly helped shape
the heart of our firm and will be deeply missed.

M. JAMES TYMCHYSHYN
M. James Tymchyshyn received his undergrad from University of Calgary in Political Science in 1991 and graduated from the University of Alberta School of Law in 1996.
James was admitted to the bar in 1997, joining Glenn & Card Law as a junior associate and has proven to be an incredible asset. Now practicing law with our firm for more than 20 years,
James specializes in Matrimonial Law and has extensive experience including Child Custody/Access/Support, Spousal Support, Matrimonial Property Division, Common-Law, Pre-Marriage Agreements, Divorce and Independent Legal Advice.

JEFFREY B. WOODRUFF

JEFFREY B. WOODRUFF
Jeffrey B. Woodruff graduated from University of Alberta and was admitted to the bar in 2006. In 2007, Jeff joined Glenn & Card Law
and brought with him a great deal of experience and unique
perception of Civil Litigation.
Jeff also maintains a general practice in Estate Law (Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Personal Directives, Estate Probate
and Litigation), Personal Injury, Employment Disputes,
Property Law, Small Claims, Real Estate Law and litigation.
Jeff speaks fluent Japanese. He is an experienced litigator,
always seeking to obtain the best outcome for his clients.
